The minimum tenure is 6 months and the maximum tenure is 5 years.

Any person (other than a natural person) located in IFSC notified SEZ, or individual, companies/corporations outside India (subject to the laws, regulations, etc., of their respective jurisdictions), or any other entity(ies) approved by RBI in this regard shall be eligible to avail of deposit facilities provided by IFSC Banking Unit referred as IBU
